Ah, July is here, and that means a lot of event action in and around Furano.

July 5-6 -- Food Adventure Event for foodies from local French chef. 6,000 yen.
July 11 -- "Rooftop Beer Garden" begins (daily thru Aug 2)
July 11 -- First "Town" Beer Garden. (also 7/18, 8/1, 8/8)
July 12 -- Nakafurano Lavender Festival (all day plus big fireworks at night)
July 12 -- Kickoff day for Kamifurano Lavender Festival (thru 21st). "Mini fireworks",
illuminated lavender fields until 7/21, festival day 7/19
July 24 -- Nachi Biei Fire Festival
July 28-29 -- Furano Heso Matsuri (Navel Festival).
